- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
- 3+ years of recent Pharmacy Director experience in a complex health system
- At least 5+ years experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services. Proficient in the use and application of new medications and technology
- Leadership, administrative, human resource, and managerial skills required
- Demonstrated ability to effectively participate on interdisciplinary teams and committees
- Business acumen including profit/loss understanding, contract negotiations, and GPO function
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics
- Problem solving and analytical thinking ability
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving

Naples, Florida
As a full time, exempt, Health System Director of Pharmacy with CPS Solutions, LLC at NCH Baker Downtown and NCH North Naples Hospitals, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws at both locations.
You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.
You will assist with the security of the pharmacies and controlled substances, assist in recruitment and hiring of pharmacy staff, ensure all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements are being met, ensure provision of optimal services, and oversee Directors of Pharmacy and other hospital personnel to enhance financial performance.
Schedule:
This position works at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, however, hours may vary, and can be long and irregular to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
