- Development of communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Supports the development of material, labor and/or overhead costs related to contracting efforts
- Supports the development and review of labor and material costs based on request for proposal (RFP) artifacts
- Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors
- Computes cost estimates of subcontracted work and labor
- Compiles and maintains historical cost data
- Collaborates with pricing leadership to devise cost models for cost estimating elements
- Collaborates with pricing leadership to prepare cost reports and work with pricing leadership to present data to management, contract personnel, proposal team members, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors
- Supports pricing leadership in the management of pricing reviews and provides pricing support guidance for proposal and capture teams; ensures that pricing strategy is completed in accordance with disclosure statement
- Understanding of labor category requirements and mapping activities to ensure compliance
- Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience
- Relevant years of experience may be substituted for education
- Proficient with software such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel to develop and manage pricing documentation
- At least 1 year of experience associated with government contracting rules and regulations
- Ability to apply pricing principles, processes and standards to organizational and growth operations
- Initial experience with pricing tools inclusive of ProPricer (or other tools), and financial reporting tools inclusive of Unanet, or DelTek (or other tools)
- Exposure to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and contract types, including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, IDIQ and Time and Materials (T&M), and becoming familiar with the organization's current customer base
