    Hospitalists

    Job Duties: Provide clinical care and services for hospitalized adult patients. Diagnose and treat patients. Ensure quality, cost effective care for hospitalized patients. Maintain strong rapport with hospital, primary care physicians, specialists and ancillary providers in order to affect quality care. Study diagnostic images to aid in making diagnoses. Prescribe medications and recommend dietary and activity programs, as indicated. Refer patients to specialists as indicated. Various administrative duties.
