    Seeking Non-CDL Driver, part-time to start. Great for retired truck drivers.

    Hours range early mornings until mid afternoon, or as needed. Availability needed Monday – Friday. $20/hour.

    Picks up, transports, and delivers freight, not to include hazardous materials, by driving a non-CDL vehicle.

    Deliver from client locations in the Orlando area to several customer locations with same day service. No overnight runs, will report back to Tampa client location by end of working day.

    Duties may include; but is not limited to: Loading, unloading with pallet jack and securing the equipment. Demonstration of proper equipment usage to customer at point of delivery.

    Perform other duties assigned by the manager or authorized personnel.

    Complete company record keeping requirements.

    Qualifications:

    Valid Florida Driver's license.

    Clean MVR.

    Minimum 21 years of age.

    Years' Experience: 2 years driving a 26-foot straight truck with lift gate.

    Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

    Ability to be subject to irregular work schedules, short notice for assignment of trip, tight delivery schedules, delays on trip, and other stress and fatigue related to driving a vehicle on crowded streets and highways in various weather conditions. Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems preferred.

    Education and Requirements:

    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

    Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively

    Language skills: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees or members of the business community.

    Responsible for the cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles and observing safety procedures.
