    The Americas Sales Strategy, Operations and Enablement (SSOE) team is seeking a driven, and experienced Sales Operations Leader for the Greenfield organization.

    The candidate for this role is a key business stakeholder and partner for sales leadership.

    The Central Sales organization is at a critical inflection point, and this candidate will play a key role in supporting the go-to-market strategy.

    The candidate for this role is expected to work cross functionally to help the organization successfully land and execute against a set of strategic priorities.


    The candidate for this role will support the rhythm of the business activities such as Annual Planning, Forecasting, Operational Strategy, Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.


    The ideal candidate for this role will have strong business and financial acumen, broad technical skills, sales and marketing expertise and be very comfortable diving deep into data.

    This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to "roll up their sleeves."


    This position works with the several stakeholders supporting the extended Enterprise Sales organization, such as Business Development, Marketing, Professional Services, and the Partner team.

    The candidate for this role must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as across other geographies.


    AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

    The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

    AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Business partner to sales leadership
    • Help define the gotomarket strategy
    • Work cross functionally to execute priorities
    • Support rhythm of business activities
    • Ensure accurate and timely sales commission calculations and payments.
    • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
    • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
    • Experience presenting to senior leadership

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

    The base pay for this position ranges from $107,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    Amazon is a total compensation company.

    Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
