    CT Power, a prominent player in providing transport refrigeration solutions throughout the United States, is seeking an experienced

    Senior Accountant

    to play a pivotal role in our accounting department.

    Job Responsibilities
    Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of key general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of balances
    Create and monitor standard journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
    Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including depreciation calculations, acquisitions, and disposals
    Review financial expenditures to ensure treatment is appropriate and in accordance with GAAP
    Manage the monthly reconciliation of cash accounts
    Assist in filing and reviewing Sales & Use tax via Avalara
    Oversee the company credit card program
    Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
    Respond to financial inquiries from operations management by gathering, analyzing and interpreting financial and operational data
    Develop opportunities for process improvement to streamline close and month-end reporting
    Support annual financial audit activities and inquiries
    Provide timely and accurate financial information to management
    Perform ad hoc analysis or other responsibilities as assigned by manager
    Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
    Bachelors' degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
    Minimum - 7 years of relevant experience required in accounting or finance with demonstrated career progression
    Ability to collaborate with various partners and stakeholders
    Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    Strong analytical and financial skills with a track record of execution against deliverables
    Strong attention to detail and a structured mindset with process/continuous improvement and innovative thinking
    Strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
    Self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team
    Ability to maintain and handle confidential documents
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
    Experience with automated financial systems and worksheet modeling tools (Excel)
    Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    Proficient knowledge of one or more accounting software programs (Karmak a plus)
    Prior experience with Sage Asset Management
