About the Role:
An award‑winning UK chartered accountancy and tax advisory firm is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Statement Compilation Accountant to join their accounts preparation team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalising financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Statement Compilation: Prepare, review, and finalise financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

Statement Compilation & Reconciliation: Compile and reconcile financial data, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and assist with statutory reporting.

Collaboration & Support: Work closely with internal teams, partners, and clients to streamline financial reporting processes.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Qualified Professional Accountant (SA) or AGA(SA)

0 - 3 years of post article experience

Vast experience in statement compilation is a requirement

Experience working on Caseware a requirement

Experience with UK accounting standards or IFRS is advantageous.
