Description

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Attorney specializing in personal injury law, with a preference for experience in either plaintiff or defense representation.

The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of relevant experience and be capable of promptly assuming responsibility for a burgeoning caseload within our established and expanding firm.

Key Details:
Must sit onsite in Washington DC (or Richmond, VA)
Must be licensed in DC and Maryland (Virginia is a plus)
Must have - 3 years of plaintiff or defense experience in personal injury.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters under the guidance of senior attorneys.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for litigation.
Maintain accurate and organized case files, documentation, and correspondence.


Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Bar in Washington D.C. and Maryland; Virginia Bar admission preferred but not mandatory.
Demonstrated experience in personal injury law, either on the plaintiff or defense side.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
