SUMMARY

The Senior Vendor Manager (SVM) owns the strategic, financial and operational performance as the single-threaded owner for a portfolio of top vendors representing $200M+ in annual revenue. This role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, margin expansion, inventory excellence, and operational scalability across e-commerce channels including Amazon, Direct Fulfillment and 3PL distribution networks. This position serves as a senior partner to vendors and is an internal leader across sales and operations.

The SVM works backward from the customer, balances short-term results with long-term vendor health, and partners cross-functionally to scale high-performing vendor programs. Success in this role requires strong business judgment, deep financial acumen, and the ability to influence vendors and internal teams without authority.

You'll own high-impact vendor relationships, operate at scale, and directly influence customer experience, profitability, and long-term growth. This role offers significant visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to operate like a business owner within a fast-paced environment.

  • Evaluate investment trade-offs across marketplace, inventory and fulfillment models

Inventory & Supply Chain Execution

  • Own end-to-end inventory strategy across FBA, direct fulfillment (DF), and 3PL models

  • Partner with Instock and Operations teams to improve fill rates, OTIF, and customer experience
  • Hold vendors accountable to operational performance standards

  • Manage vendor direct fulfillment programs to ensuring SLA compliance and scalability
  • Manage performance of 3PL partners supporting top vendors
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across DF and 3PL operations to reduce cost, improve speed, and increase reliability

Marketplace & Channel Excellence

  • Ensure strong execution across key marketplaces and e-commerce channels (Amazon, Walmart, DTC, etc.)
  • Ensure excellence in assortment, content, pricing, availability and compliance.
  • Support traffic, conversion, and promotional initiatives in collaboration with vendors and marketing partners

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives in sales, operations, finance, marketing and technology
  • Influence senior stakeholders through data, written narratives, and clear recommendations
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex vendor, fulfillment or operational challenges

  • Deliver executive-ready reporting on vendor performance, financial results, and operational KPIs
