Job summary
As part of the Global Risk Control Organization contributed to key risk control processes across entities under the team's international scope Lead risk management oversight for Power trading activities including open position monitoring valuation controls and mark-to-market MTM valuation Deliver daily analysis and explanations of key metrics and limit breaches Coordinate deal and price validation within the trading system performing deal checks curve updates and data reconciliation Ensure timely deal capture compliance with internal trading limits and risk policies to maintain transactional integrity Apply critical thinking to risk reporting exposure analysis across TGPNA's multi-product trading portfolio Evaluate forward price movements maintained enhanced risk models tested new risk calculations Assess model assumptions against market fundamentals proposed improvements for valuation accuracy ,- Degree qualified in economics finance business mathematics or quantitative discipline.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management methodologies valuations models.
- Solid understanding of MTM VaR quantifying position exposures other Risk Metrics along with Power Risk Management experience particularly in North American power ISOs more specifically ERCOT PJM CAISO.
