    Description

    • Maintains department employee roster for accuracy and organizational purposes.
    • Review, monitor, and reconcile position summary reports to track department active and inactive employees.
    • Creating, scheduling, and presenting employees with onboarding resources on Student Transportation process policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
    • Coordinate with the recruiter on the post-interview process: reference checks, physical scheduling, and any pre-employment requirements.
    • Coordinate with Service centers on employee transfers, promotions, and separations.
    • Prepare and create all records for transfer requests, updating seniority list and annual bidding process.
    • Assist with professional development training for all staff including CDL, support and administrative staff.
    • Analyze and compile data to assist the Administrative service team with decision making and strategy development.
    • Oversee the Reasonable Assurance process and coordinate with Risk Management to address any Unemployment Claims.
    • Research and collect data for the Administrative services team on assigned Special projects.
    • Required High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or directly related field preferred
    • Required 2 years of experience in some capacity of human resource or directly related field
    • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of district personnel and the public
    • Knowledgeable in business telephone and e-mail etiquette
    • Experience operating standard office equipment including pertinent software applications; preparing and maintaining accurate records; and performing accounting procedures
    • Ability to schedule activities; collate data; and use basic, job-related equipment
    • Problem solving skills to identify issues and create action plans
    • Ability to communicate with diverse groups, maintaining confidentiality, meeting deadlines and schedules, setting priorities, and working with detailed information/data
    • Ability to operate window-based PC, use MS Excel, MS Word; use calculator and be able to train others
    • Spanish/English bilingual preferred
