Quality Engineer, Bilingual Spanish

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team in the Diesel Division at our Jasper, Indiana facility.

Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

As a member of our Quality Department, the Quality Engineer is primarily responsible for initiation and completion of A3 projects in our manufacturing facilities, recognizing and nominating quality problems for solutions, working with manufacturing group leaders on quality issues, and answering team member questions on the manufacturing floor.

What you'll do:
Build/sustain relationships with customers
Initiate and complete of A3 projects
Recognize and nominate quality problems for solutions
Work with manufacturing group leaders on specific quality issues facing the work group
Quality Engineer aids in establishing quality components of the standard
Sign off on process changes, BOM and specification changes
Answer team member questions on the manufacturing floor

Skills and experience we are looking for:
Bilingual, fluent in speaking and understanding English and Spanish
Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Automotive Technology Degree or similar preferred, or equivalent work experience
Problem-solving
Helpful to have automotive machining experience
