    Job DescriptionIMKO Workforce Solutions is hiring Seamer Operators for one of our manufacturing clients. This is a long-term position with great pay and great benefits once hired on permanently with the company. Seamer Operator completes finishing operations, inspects & packages product, & verifies the product meets quality & quantity standards set by the customer & the company for color, metrics, & registration in an efficient manner that provides on-time delivery to the customer.
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform set-up on multiple pieces of complex machinery, & ensure proper validation sign-off of set-up before running the job
    • Load press rolls or other material into the equipment
    • Unload finished product & inspect product prior to packaging
    • Use staple guns, and tape machines & precisely and safely measure, use, & store chemicals used in production
    • Operate manual lift/jack and other lifting equipment as needed for material & product movement
    • Properly complete all documentation required on computer & by hand to track each job
    • Follow GMP policy and Standard Operating Procedures to not cause rework or otherwise negatively impact the customer
    • Other duties as assigned
    Requirements:
    • 6+ months experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Mechanical aptitude & ability to add, subtract, multiply, & divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals quickly & correctly
    • Knowledge of other measuring units such as cup, pint, quart, inch, foot, yard, ounce, & pound
    • Ability to accurately measure using various measurement tools
    • Ability to troubleshoot problems and willingness to work with other team members and management
    • Must possess a strong work ethic, honesty, reliability, and have a good attitude regarding work
    • Must be safety conscious & comply with all general safety policies & procedures in accordance with all Company, State, & Federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) rules & regulations
    • Must be able to regularly use hands and reach above & below shoulder level
    • Must be able to stand & walk for 10-12 hours during a shift
    • Must be able to lift/push/pull/move up to 50 lbs.
    • 1st shift Mon-Thurs 6 AM- 4:30 PM
      2nd shift Mon-Thurs 4:30 PM-3 AM
      3rd shift Fri-Sun 5 AM -5 PM
