- Resolve issues through level 3 in server, operating systems or other software under the control of the Distributed Systems management team
- Provide guidance to junior infrastructure analysts and follows guidance and direction from Lead and senior
- Perform day to day operations to maintain SLAs and business functions
- Acquire knowledge of new technologies and may implement to benefit Horizon and disseminate this information to IT staff members
- Manage vendor relationships including hardware, software, and maintenance contracts
- Escalate issues when necessary to senior members of the team for resolution
- Take ownership of all assigned level II and III issues and be responsible for follow up from end to end
- Installation and configuration of applications, clusters and docker platforms.
- Documenting processes and procedures for infrastructure support
- Extensive engineering and implementation (hands on) experience in managing RedHat OpenShift (OCP) or related Kubernetes / Container platforms.
- Hands on experience in automating CI / CD needs on RedHat OpenShift (OCP) or related Kubernetes / Container platforms.
- Working knowledge with Docker, Git, Jenkins.
- Working knowledge on distributed operating systems like Linux / IBM AIX / Windows.
- Experience with DevOps concepts/working tools is needed.
- Any experience or knowledge with IBM CloudPak products is a plus.
- General experience in container based implementations involving AWS-ECS/EKS, General Kubernetes flavors
- Core Middleware experience in handling IBM WebSphere products / Application Server / WebServers is a great add-on.
- Experience with any industry leading Scripting languages such as Shell scripting/Python/Groovy/PowerShell is great add-on.
- Knowledge of Load balancers, DNS resolutions, basic Network issues troubleshooting related to Middleware technologies
- Requires knowledge of distributive computing platforms
- Requires understanding in email platforms/technologies
- Change Management methodologies preferred
- Requires strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Requires excellent communication skills and ability to write and discuss clear procedures regarding technical issues

- Extensive knowledge of following operating systems Windows Server, Linux (RedHat), VMWARE
- Good understanding of networking protocol such at TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, SNMP, OSI layers, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VLANs, telnet, FTP, Secure FTP, VPN, HTTP, and HTTPS, Load Balancers (F5, NLB) is a plus
- Deep understanding of technologies such as Internet Information Servers (IIS), SQL servers, Clusters, Application servers, Distributed Computing platforms, Dot Net, Terminal Services
- Solid understanding of windows infrastructure including Active Directory, NT domains, Batch and scripting, WMI, Security Updates, service packs
- Support Middleware activities over Oncall schedules

$94,900 - $129,570
