    Quality Assurance Manager

We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing our commitment to quality.

    POSTION OVERVIEW:

    The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the quality department, ensuring compliance with established quality standards, managing a team of Quality Inspectors, and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 standards.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Leadership and supervision: Provide effective leadership to the quality department, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence. Manage and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors, providing guidance and support.
    2. Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes to ensure products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
    3. ISO 9001:2015: Manage the implementation and ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to ISO requirements. Update and maintain the quality management system documentation.
    4. Training and Development: Provide training to employees on quality standards, processes, and procedures. Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous learning within the organization.
    5. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key quality metrics, analyzing trends, and making recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve quality related issues.
    6. Dimensional Inspections: Perform dimensional inspections on incoming products, conduct first article inspections, inspect in-process products, and assess final products. Serve as the GD&T tolerancing expert, providing guidance and training to ensure precise and accurate interpretations and inspections.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or 10+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance management position is required.
    2. Proven experience in a quality assurance role, with a focus on ISO 9001:2015standards. ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification is required.
    • 10+ years of experience performing dimensional inspections using handheld inspection equipment. Such as calipers, verniers, OD Mics, bore gages, and various other tools.
    • 5+ years of experience in interpreting engineering schematics and drawings.
    • 5+ years of experience interpreting and inspecting GD&T requirements.
    1. 5+ Years of experience with a C.M.M.
    2. Working knowledge of ASNT-SNT-TC-1A inspections for MT, PT, and UT a plus
    3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
    4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    6. Detail oriented and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
