    Description

    This role involves providing Group Therapy, Treatment Planning, Discharge Planning, Assessments, Crisis Intervention, and Individual or Family Therapy to patients and their families.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychosocial assessments to determine social service needs and develop patient care plans.
    • Evaluate Patient data and implement care plans.
    • Participate in weekly patient care plans and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
    • Ensure compliance with treatment plan requirements.
    • Arrange appropriate discharge plans for patients.
    • Utilize available resources for case management.
    • Document treatment in patient records.
    • Complete reports for suspected abuse.

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in social work or related field.
    • Current Nevada Clinical license preferred.
    • CPR and CPI certification within 60 days of hire.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year of inpatient clinical work.
    • Basic knowledge of human growth and development.
    • Familiarity with psychiatric services in the community.
    • Understanding of psychopathology and treatment techniques.
    • Experience with therapeutic limit-setting.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
    • Dedication to collaborative work and leadership.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
    • Exercise self-control in challenging situations.

    Physical Requirements:

    This position may require:

    • Stooping, kneeling, and lifting objects.
    • Walking, pushing, and carrying objects.
    • Sensory perception and verbal communication.
    • Hearing within a standard range.
    • Lifting and exerting force as needed.
    • Visual acuity.
    • Exposure to varying temperatures.
