Ideal candidate

• BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine MD/DO with post-training experience in rural and/or wilderness medicine

* "Outside of the box" thinker

• Interested in working in a Relief/as needed basis
• OB experience a bonus

Practice Highlights

• 2 provider primary care clinic
• Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
• Provider schedule is four 8-hour days a week in clinic, with up to 15 patients a day
• Visiting specialists include Women's Health, Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Cardiology
• Support staff includes an RN, Radiology and Lab Techs, Certified MA, PARs, Referral Coordinator
• Moderate complexity Lab status
• Epic EHR

Craig, Alaska, sits on the third largest island in the US in the Southeast part of the state and is accessible by floatplane or ferry from Ketchikan.

With a total population of approximately 3,000, the busy outpatient clinic serves the immediate community and others located on Prince of Wales Island.
