Description
Job DescriptionDescription
Ideal candidate
Craig, Alaska, sits on the third largest island in the US in the Southeast part of the state and is accessible by floatplane or ferry from Ketchikan.
Craig is family-oriented and boasts excellent schools that include public, alternative, and correspondence options; another treasure is the vibrant arts community.
Timber, commercial fishing, and fish processing are the major industries, and tourism - including charter fishing, shrimping, crabbing, hunting, wildlife viewing, photography, hiking, and Native Alaskan cultural education - is quickly becoming a vital part of the economy.
With a total population of approximately 3,000, the busy outpatient clinic serves the immediate community and others located on Prince of Wales Island.
