A biotechnology client in Boston, MA is looking for a Facilities/ Reliability Engineer
Summary
The facilities site engineer reporting to global engineering and capital project management will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in a multi-site GMP manufacturing facility environment including in-depth knowledge of building mechanical, electrical and piping systems with their controls. Primary duties will include collaboration with multiple stakeholders to support robust operations of facility and equipment reducing unplanned downtime. The role includes engineering design, project management and change control management for facility related projects including manufacturing equipment, clean room, laboratory, and manufacturing suite renovations.
Responsibilities
Position Qualifications
Executes change management for equipment and other support systems including commissioning and/or implementation of other related initiatives as assigned
Implement science centric strategic decisions for capital projects and Validation based on the scientific knowledge, education and experience
Participate in design reviews for various capital projects and equipment with cost, efficiency and compliance always in mind
Creation and revision of commissioning protocols, reports, and engineering documents including, but not limited to, CQV, drawings, user requirement specifications and SOPs.
Requirements
B.S. in Engineering discipline with 5-10+ years of relevant experience
Understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field, GMP, ISO, GAMP, ANSI.
Knowledge of facility related engineering disciplines (MEP) in GMP manufacturing environment
