    Job Title: Solar - Business Development Manager

    Location: Winter Park Orlando, Florida

    Setup: Onsite

    Term: Fulltime and Permanent

    Pay Ranges: $80,000 - $120,000/year + performance based bonus(about 1.5month salary; if don't hit the 50% of the goal, no bonus),no commission at the moment

    Benefits: Holidays, Medical Insurance; No PTO or 401K at the moment.

    Responsibilities

    Main Roles:

    • Analyze new geographies, applications, and business models for smart energy products & solutions.
    • Develop and implement new market entry strategies and first-of-their-kind projects.
    • Develop and execute on outreach strategies with major market players, potential customers, and potential partners in support of the team's many initiatives
    • Develops and implements sales strategies in accordance with company's product line goals and strategies
    • Achieves valued business opportunities for continued revenue & profit growth
    • Manages all aspects of sales reporting for the account, includes regular report outs on activities, customer meetings, sales forecasts, sales variances and long-range planning
    • Secures contract checking and contract management processes
    • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs and/or company's requirements and coordinates all necessary company departments and personnel
    • Improve customer relationships by establishing and maintaining close contact with key personnel within purchasing and engineering departments

    Qualification Requirements:

    • 8+ years of battery & generator industry experience with a broad understanding of how the industry works
    • At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales or BD position at top tier suppliers or distributors, and having solid resources and connections to local distributors and retail & wholesale channels
    • Ability to project manage large initiatives with many stakeholders, driving the group to decisions and demonstrating results
    • Ability to define and structure broad asks into logical frameworks for analysis and executive decision-making
    • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Very strong analytical skills, including basic financial modeling
    • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Advanced financial and/or energy storage modeling abilities, preferred
