    Full time
    Description
Global Investment Company is looking to make their first Global Head of Tax hire to be based in their USA Headquarters.

There is a complex global tax structure within the firm, as there are many layers to the business so this role will have a key part to play in the tax strategy, risk profile, planning and future growth opportunities with the CEO and business leaders.

There is an established tax team in the USA and a newly formed Tax team in London so on top of being able to bring Global Tax experience (USA and International), tax planning, strategy, structuring, and restructuring expertise, you will also need to be able to lead and develop the tax team itself.

    Overview of duties
    • Advise on global tax implications including tax risks and offering viable solutions.
    • US and international tax laws and regulations.
    • Minimize tax risk and maximize tax efficiency.
    • Lead a global team.
    • Plan, manage, and review global corporate and partnership tax returns and tax provisions.
    • Develop transfer pricing strategies.

This is a highly proactive and forward-thinking business with a strong collaborative culture. As such, you will need to be able to demonstrate a similar lack of hubris whilst displaying pro-activity.

They encourage an in-office presence and as such whilst flexibility is always given, this would be a 5-day/ week role rather than a hybrid offering.

      Experience required:
      • CPA License / Masters of Tax or equivalent (essential)
      • Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, taxation, or other related field
      • Financial Services In-House experience (essential)
      • International tax (essential)
      • Proven Tax leadership experience - strategy, planning etc (essential)
      • Federal and State Tax knowledge (essential)
      • Corporate & Partnership tax compliance, including Subchapter K (highly desired)
      • People management & development (essential)
