GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct four-handed dentistry and clearly explain treatment plans and associated costs to patients.
Adhere to established set-up and break-down procedures for each patient visit.
Manage instrument sterilization processes and maintain adequate clinic supplies inventory.
Assist in procurement of supplies and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
Take radiographs, perform expanded duties in accordance with certification, as per Idaho State Board of Dentistry regulations.
Strictly adhere to infection control policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of a Dental Assistant Program or equivalent training and experience.
Demonstrated manual dexterity to pass instruments to the dentist and sufficient mobility to fulfill essential duties.
Proficient in dental terminology and capable of maintaining effective communication with patients.
Skilled and trained in various dental assisting tasks, including endodontics, oral surgery, crown and bridge procedures, and prosthetic dentistry.
