We're searching for a Senior Staff Signa/Power Integrity Engineer to join Aurora's HPE-SIEMC team. The HPE-SIEMC team is responsible for Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, EMC design and testing for all Aurora Products.

    In this role, you will

    • Lead Signal Integrity(SI), Power Integrity(PI) or EMC implementation in advanced autonomous driving hardware systems, Sensors and hardnesses
    • Develop and implement simulation methodology for PCB, high speed channel and SOC to optimize SIPI or EMC performance
    • Model complex 3D structures, such as PCB modules, connectors and cables
    • Extract and characterize high speed channel and compliance against industry standards
    • Lead high speed interfaces validation in lab with high end scope, VNA and spectrum analyzer
    • Perform EMC compliance test, review the results and communicate with team and vendors..

    Required Qualifications

    • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering + 5 years of industry experience in electrical system or automotive vehicle
      • Staff or senior staff level experience is required for this position
    • Experience with design and implementation of high speed electrical interfaces, such as PCIE, high speed or automotive ethernet, DDR/LPDDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI, USB, etc
    • Proficient with SIPI simulation tools, HFSS/SIwave, ADS or Cadence Sigrity
    • Good understanding on transmission line theory, S-parameter, signal spectrum, signal processing, PCB material, Stackup and fabrication process.
    • Strong lab skills and experience with VNA, Real time Scope, spectrum Analyzer and TDR, etc.
    • Solid understanding of EM theory and familiar with EMC standards on emissions and immunity test such as CISPR25, ISO11452/7637/10605.

    Desirable Qualifications

    • Experience with automotive hardware development
    • Good communication skills, self motivated and strong team player
    • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Perl or Python.
    • EMC simulation experience

    The base salary range for this position is $197,000 - $315,000 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
