This position is a licensed engineer and is responsible for designing transportation projects, managing the entire design process from scoping to advertisement, preparing construction plans,
specifications and cost estimates for transportation improvement projects.
- Apply current engineering principles and theories, design specifications, and federal,state,and local design standards to develop plan sets and specifications for roadway projects.
- Design transportation projects and perform project management during the design phase for highway improvement projects.
