    We are currently seeking a Safety Technician in our Anderson and Wellford facilities.

    Responsibilities:
    • Performing OSHA compliance audits and Safety Audits in both the environmental and administrative inspections.
    • Conduct training sessions on various topics including behavior-based safety, powered industrial trucks, fall protection equipment inspection, and ergonomics.
    • Perform ergonomic inspections for workstations and new projects.
    • Assisting the safety team in the execution of safety initiatives in the distribution center, such as safety champions meetings and safety week.
    • Assisting management in conducting weekly safety audits and behavior-based safety observations.
    • Partnering with management on incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
    • Collect data on, analyze, and design improvements to work environments and procedures.
    Required Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma
    • Effective time management
    • Attention to detail.
    • Approx. 3 years of EHS experience
    • Proficient digital literacy (PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel)
    • High Diploma
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • CPR, First Aid, AED certification
    • OSHA 10, 30 certifications
    • Experience in Powered Industrial Trucks and Training
    • Experience with Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Standing and walking for extended periods.
    • Repetitive motion, hand/wrist work, power grasping with hands, fine finger movements.
    • Occasional bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
    • Occasional lifting up to 50lbs - team lifts over 50lbs.
    • Able to work in various temperature conditions.
