- This person will apply knowledge of the fundamentals of configuration management to establish and maintain consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life
- Receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking, and final disposition of all configuration changed documentation such as ECPs and CCPs
- Assist in the preparation and conduct of Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and business management boards
- Assist in the development and management of all CDRL requirements.
- Plan and conduct audits (FCAs/PCAs) and confirm the adequacy of data used for these audits.
- Review and evaluate OEM proposals and reports for configuration status accounting of assigned systems/subsystem(s) and compliance with Government technical data requirements.
- Provide support to the DR function operation of the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) or similar system Education and Experience: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- High school diploma and Ten (10) years of related professional experience
- Five (5) years of DoD experience.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel.
