    Position Overview:


    As a Senior Accountant at Folding Guard, your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of activities including the management of key accounting functions, the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial reports, and the assurance of compliance with the latest accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

    In this role, you will work closely with our finance team to ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

    You will also play a crucial role in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and in the development of internal financial controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Your expertise will be vital in interpreting financial data to provide insights that influence strategic business decisions, aiding in the long-term financial stability and growth of Folding Guard.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    Maintain the general ledger by recording and reconciling financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
    Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts and monitor actual performance against budgeted figures.
    Reconcile bank statements, intercompany transactions, and various balance sheet accounts.
    Maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
    Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensure compliance with tax laws, and support tax-related inquiries and audits.
    Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual financial audit and provide necessary documentation.
    Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in financial performance.
    Continuously seek opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
    Stay up to date with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance in all financial activities.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior leadership, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in financial reporting and analysis.
    Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Experience with manufacturing or industrial businesses is a plus.
