    POSITION SUMMARY :
    Provide leadership to sustain a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; and supervising staff.

    • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
    • Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
    • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
    • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with a data storage system.
    • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
    • Monitors volume of business and determines appropriate work schedule.
    • Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.
    • Monitors condition and maintenance of operating/material handling equipment.
    • Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error-free culture.
    • Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
    • Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciling records
    • Ensures ISO and safety standards are adhered
    • Leverages industry practices and applies to internal systems and processes
    • Provides supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates workflow within the operation, including distributing work, disseminating information, assigning staff to cover for absences, providing technical assistance, answering questions, and resolving problems within the work unit supervised
    • Implements Lean Manufacturing and drives continuous improvement
    • In conjunction with leadership and management staff, establishes budgets and strategic plans to accomplish objectives for growth and profitability
    • Supervises the development and implementation of training programs within the area supervised
    • Responsible for monitoring sales orders for finished goods
    • Understand and execute all plant policies and procedures.
    • Structure and implement area policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation of the company and its team members.
    • Ensure alignment of area policies and procedures with plant and corporate policies and procedures.
    • Review and track posted daily, weekly, and monthly goals (including KPI targets and results), spot potential problems and lead in formulating and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures and solutions.
    • Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, teamwork, and harmony.

    MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

    EDUCATION:
    Trade school graduate or associates degree or a combination of experience and education, Bachelor's degree preferred,


    EXPERIENCE:
    10+ years experience in warehousing operation,
    EXPERIENCE in a 24/7 manufacturing/molding operations


    OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with our internal and external customers. Basic knowledge of equipment. Advanced ability to read prints and use measuring equipment along with advanced math skills.
