JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Mathematics in Penn State's Eberly College of Science is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar.

The successful candidate will work with Professor Jessica Conway in the area of mathematical modeling of early HIV dynamics in-host.

Education and Experience

The position requires a completed Ph.
D. preferred in applied mathematics. The position is ideal for someone with training in viral dynamics modeling, using both stochastic and deterministic methodologies. Programming experience is essential.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
