- Develop and implement a mission-focused strategic marketing plan that highlights YWCA events, programs, and advocacy agenda to increase engagement among YWCA Columbus' target audiences.
- Interface with program directors and site leaders to ensure YWCA Columbus brand accuracy.
- Collaborate with the content & creative strategist to ensure graphics and visuals align with the overall branding strategy.
- Draft written collateral as needed – in collaboration with the director of marketing – including the agency impact report, monthly newsletters, emails, and solicitations.
- Participate in brainstorms, manage projects and timelines as needed, and stay updated on current trends in digital marketing.
- Work with program directors and site leaders to understand goals and priorities, and draft content to reflect these priorities.
- Establish and execute a social media calendar for Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok to promote the organization's services and community impact.
- Post on and monitor all YWCA Columbus social media accounts, responding to comments and inquiries as needed.
- Create strategic social media plans for events to promote attendance, day-of interaction, and continued post-event engagement.
- Exercise judgment to prioritize social media statements and quiet periods based on organization's interests and societal factors. Monitor local and national media and social media for ongoing events and topics that may be relevant to YWCA Columbus' work.
- Serve as the point person for all digital advertising placements, including social media ads, Google ads, Facebook fundraisers, and with external media vendors.
- Write digital ad content and place and monitor the ads' performance.
- Research best practices for digital advertising and implement to improve ROI on budget spent.
- Collect, manage, and draft email and website content from across departments, making recommendations/edits based on marketing best practices and research.
- Update website based on department requests for new and additional content as well as best practices for website marketing and SEO.
- Work with content & creative strategist to design, draft, and send emails to target audiences, utilizing email platform.
- Draft/share email content in a timely manner to ensure reviews/updates before publication and manage email communications to external audiences.
- Develop and implement a process to track data for YWCA Columbus' website, emails, social media, and digital advertising efforts and monitor results.
- Use data to better inform strategies for generating higher audience engagement and conversions.
- Share data with broader team(s) to inform opportunities for improvement across the organization.
