REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must have a Master's Degree in a related field and LADAC I certification; LADAC II, LCSW, LPC-MHSP are preferred. Previous experience in addiction treatment is beneficial.
OTHER SKILLS
Counseling: Proficiency in evidence-based practices for addiction and co-occurring disorders, ability to establish therapeutic alliances
Communication: Effective communication in English, Spanish proficiency is advantageous
Technology: Proficient in Microsoft applications and medical software, adept at utilizing various teaching tools
Physical/Safety: Capable of physical tasks, crisis intervention, and emergency response
Professionals in Recovery: Familiarity with ethical guidelines and commitment to professional conduct
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work setting involves interaction with individuals experiencing extreme stress; may require evening, night, and weekend shifts.
