    Process Development Engineer

    The Position:

    Our facility in Aurorais is currently in need of a Process Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role entails overseeing sustainable practices, ensuring quality assurance for commercial products, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and minimize product variability.

    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain productivity and quality standards within the manufacturing process, including addressing non-conforming materials, implementing control measures, conducting trend analyses, and participating in audits.
    • Identify and address factors contributing to product and process variation, implementing control systems and process enhancements.
    • Lead investigations into manufacturing issues, offer technical expertise, and conduct training sessions for operational staff.
    • Drive process enhancements by identifying opportunities to boost safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
    • Oversee management of change processes, execute trials, manage new product introductions, and guide equipment installations as needed.
    • Manage equipment operations, lead maintenance efforts, and optimize machine uptime.
    • Track key performance metrics and uphold product integrity and intellectual property.
    • Collaborate with global engineering teams to share best practices and support continuous improvement.
    • Identify and implement environmental, health, and safety improvements.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering or a related field.
    • 5 - 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or semiconductor/polymer processing, with CNC and CAD/CAM software knowledge.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with CNC equipment and/or programmable manufacturing interfaces.
    • Knowledge of COBOTS and robotic automation, project management skills, and Six Sigma certification.
    • Proficiency in statistical software, specifically Minitab and/or JMP.
