- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose and formulate treatment plans for individuals across the lifespan.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies or acute mental health episodes as required by department policy and standard, with support and oversight by the Medical Director of Behavioral Health.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of clinical psychology and incorporate best practices into treatment approaches.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and supervision sessions to enhance professional development and ensure quality care.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families, promoting understanding and active participation in the treatment process.
- Contribute to and support program development and quality improvement initiatives within the Behavioral Health Department.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards governing the practice of psychology and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
- Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
- Complies with System policies and procedures.

- CA Clinical Psychologist license
- Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based psychotherapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Summary
The Clinical Psychologist, working as an integrated provider in our Behavioral Health Department, will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of psychological issues as well as assisting in developing and supporting the programmatic offering of the department. This role will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
