    Job DescriptionNetwork ArchitectWe are seeking a talented and experienced Network Architect with a background in IT healthcare to join our client's team.

    As a Network Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure network infrastructure solutions tailored to the unique needs of healthcare IT systems.

    Develop and implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and access controls, to safeguard sensitive healthcare data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network resources to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and efficiency.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, healthcare professionals, and vendors, to design and implement network solutions that meet business and clinical requirements.

    Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, procedures, and security incidents. Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders as needed.
    Evaluate new networking technologies, tools, and protocols to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices. Make recommendations for technology adoption and integration into existing infrastructure.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.2+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture, preferably in the healthcare IT industry.

    Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).Experience with healthcare-specific technologies such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Health Information Exchange (HIE), and Medical Imaging.

    Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, and GDPR.Experience with network security practices and tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access controls.

    Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
