- Access to multiple Atrium health-affiliated internal medicine and family medicine practices for consultation services. Critical care services are strictly consultative.

- An established team of 5 Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians in the practice setting.
- Outpatient schedule from Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm; Inpatient coverage round the clock. Nighttime coverage provided through virtual critical care services.
- Majority of patients - Outpatient Adults 75%, Inpatient Adults 25%.
- 200-bed facility with an open ICU at the Union location.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certified in Critical Care.
- Previous experience or fellowship training in pulmonary/critical care is necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and aptitude for team-based work.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina.
