    Position SummaryNOTE:
    THIS POSITION IS OPEN FOR A CANDIDATE SEEKING FULL
    • OR PART-TIME STATUS.
    FTE IS NEGOTIABLE.The Department of Ophthalmology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, invites applications for an open-rank fixed term neuro-ophthalmologist subspecialist position. Responsibilities include outpatient care, an interest in clinical and/or bench research, and resident and medical student teaching and supervision. The position will serve patients at the UNC Kittner Eye Center, located 2226 Nelson Hwy, Ste. 200, Chapel Hill, NC. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
    Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsAn M.D. is required for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperiencePrerequisites include successful graduation from an ophthalmology or neurology residency training program, a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology, and demonstration of excellence in training activities.

    Qualifications include board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
