- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and design professionals to understand project requirements and scope.
- Conduct site visits and pre-bid orientations to assess project needs accurately.
- Perform detailed quantity surveys and measurements of proposed restoration areas to prepare accurate labor and material take-offs.
- Interpret design and construction drawings, specs, and other documents to define project scope.
- Determine labor and material costs, manpower requirements, and scheduling for bid proposal generation.
- Evaluate material application requirements, specifications, and costs, including equipment needs for restoration work.
- Ensure compliance with relevant licensing, local regulations, and safety standards for project execution.
- Prepare and submit accurate bid proposals, ensuring completeness and accuracy for internal review.
- Provide ongoing support to project management and contract administration staff throughout project lifecycle.
- Participate actively/proactively, in networking and association events, some after hours.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in commercial masonry restoration estimation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial masonry restoration estimation or project management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to read and interpret job specifications and plan documents accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Tradesmen's 3-D estimating software experience is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
- Dependable, flexible, reliable, and efficient, with a sense of urgency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work outdoors occasionally and traverse various types of terrain as needed.
- Compliance with all safety requirements, including wearing personal protective equipment.
