    Description

    Job Title: Production Operator

    This position is responsible for all tasks involved in the production of brie, goat, and feta cheese. The goal of a production operator is to use equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along in the production environment.

    The position involves cleaning and sanitizing equipment, placing empty forms/funnels on the conveyor, precise leveling of cheese into forms after being dipped, loading, pushing, and pulling stacks of cheese via hand carts and trolleys, and following company GMP and safety policy practices while performing duties.

    Essential functions include setup and operation of Tecnal make-line, diagnosing and fixing basic faults, setting up, tearing down, operating, diagnosing, and fixing sensor and minor faults on flip lines, and moving cheese from drying rooms to curing rooms.

    The position requires strong communication skills, ability to work well on a small team, and self-starter attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment and be capable of operating without direct supervision.

    Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
