    Landscape Designer (CAD

    Our client is seeking a Landscape Designer to join their team and create outdoor spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. In this role, you will work with clients, engineers, and architects to design landscapes based upon their needs.

    The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree, 3 years of related experience, and previous experience working with landscape architects, designers, and engineers.

    Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week (flexible schedule)

    Location


    Honolulu, Oahu

    Pay


    $45,000 to $60,000 a year

    Responsibilities

    • Interpret and incorporate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into CAD drawings.
    • Create sketches, drawings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas.
    • Gather information on client requirements, project goals, and any regulatory or zoning restrictions.
    • Prepare detailed landscape plans including layout drawings, planting plans, and construction details.
    • Develop budgets and cost projections.
    • Conduct site analysis to assess existing site conditions including topography, soil quality, and drainage patterns.
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or changes.
    • Oversee the implementation of landscape designs.
    • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate landscape design.
    • Develop preliminary landscape design concepts.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, landscape design, or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
    • Previous experience collaborating with landscape architects, designers and engineers.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Proficiency with AutoDesk and AutoCAD.
    • Knowledge of landscape architectural design preferred.
    • Knowledge in modeling and graphic design software, Rhino, Revit and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
    • Familiarity with GIS software preferred.
    • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
