Job summary
This position is responsible for the supervision and direction of the accounting staff, oversight of financial statement preparation and reporting, production of the operating, capital and grant program budgets, general ledger maintenance,
and additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversight completion monthly quarterly reports timely basis including financial statements cash flow projections general ledger analyses reports bank reconciliations Review approve data entered Finance department record keeping systems ultimately general ledger financial statements oversee accurate timely recording revenues expenses cash receipts disbursements Oversight tracking capital expenditures maintenance fixed assets ledger Responsibility performance cash receipts systems controls reporting facilities administrative centers medical facilities Oversight payroll functions processes systems collaborates planned upgrades process changes VP Human Resources Compliance Review reconcile approve bi-weekly payroll Ensure outside filings prepared filed timely basis Act liaison partnership management staff support organizational reporting activities Develop review update Finance Department accounting policies procedures ensuring compliance internal control standards Coordinate develop annual operating cash capital budgets providing periodic updates reviews forecasts projections necessary Provide periodic financial analyses operations using monthly financial results initiate discussions plans action appropriate management address resolve significant revenue cost variances Coordinate collaborate preparation budgets public sector grant programs funding proposals new grant programs work Program Directors prepare budgets private grant applications Ensure General Ledger maintained support various reporting requirements Oversee preparation grant vouchers publicly funded agencies Oversee coordinate quarterly CRQM audits Assist Chief Financial Officer preparation annual department workplan periodic updates Support Budget Finance Committee Board Directors coordinating meetings materials reports communications attend meetings live teleconference scheduled Continuously assess workflow finance department efficiency effectiveness oversee implementation improvements Serve contributing member Affiliate Leadership Team Assume duties assigned Chief Financial Officer.
- Cash reconciliation daily bank deposit made weekly bank transfer ensure accuracy integrity accounts payable accounts receivable payment processing credit card processing vendor invoice payment processing General Ledger account analysis variance analysis budgeting forecasting preparing annual budget assist development coordination periodically reviewing updating CFS business plan strategic planning serve contributing member Affiliate Leadership Team assume other duties assigned by CFO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree accounting business finance Master's degree preferred 5+ years financial management experience ideally healthcare organization Strong communication interpersonal management skills Strong Excel knowledge knowledge Microsoft Access plus ZRCFS #INDEC2025
