    Field Operations Manager - DAS Commissioning- Northern VA, DC market

    Description of Duties:

    This position encompasses all aspects of DAS Commissioning/integration in DAS and small cell projects. An ideal candidate will have the ability to vet, oversee vendors/sub-contractors to ensure their work meets our standards of quality and safety.

    • Responsible for all aspects of 5 step DAS commissioning
    • Conduct site surveys and bid walks, providing detailed site floor plans, photos, scope documents, and necessary RF Field surveys
    • Perform Pre-construction walks to assess the feasibility of building the DAS/small cell according to the design
    • Assist in identifying and qualifying subcontractors for the project
    • Establish and maintain a technical training program for internal field personnel related to DAS
    • Interface with Routers, Switches, and DAS controllers using a PC
    • Monitor contractors' performance and work quality
    • Ensure accurate maintenance of the 5 step commissioning document
    • Coordinate with tenants and construction personnel for accurate development of construction documents
    • Conduct system sweeps and PIM results following customer's specifications
    • Lead DAS commission update meetings and resolve any disputes

    The ideal candidate should hold the following certifications:

    1. OSHA 30
    2. Corning Mobile Access commissioning
    3. CommScope commissioning
    4. JMA/Teko commissioning
    5. First Aid/CPR/AED training
    6. PIM certification (Kaelus/Anritsu)
    7. Sweep certification (Anritsu)
    8. RF awareness training

    Experience:

    • Minimum 7 years of wireless Construction Management experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and customer service principles

    Education & Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Customer service orientation, organizational skills, attention to detail, self-supervision
    • Initiative and reliability
