    Job Title: Data Science Intern

    Summary:

    The Data Science Intern will be fully immersed within our Data Science team, honing their skills through research alongside experienced Data Scientists. The candidate will have ample opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Data Science Team, including project planning, data analysis, model development and validation, and meetings with business partners.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Apply creative and analytical skills to conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis on real-world datasets.
    • Solve complex business problems using data visualizations, statistical analysis, machine learning, and other advanced analytics.
    • Collaborate with data scientists to research innovative approaches to similar problems in finance and other industries.
    • Participate in meetings and discussions with key stakeholders to develop 'business-minded' data scientist skills.

    Requirements:

    • Must be a Master's degree candidate in a technical or data-related field.
    • Strong understanding of statistics and mathematics concepts.
    • Proficient in Python and SQL (DataBricks, Spark, Azure a plus).
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Creative problem-solver with impeccable attention to detail.
    • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

    Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year
