At Recruité, we're seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician with a focus on Major Component Exchange (MCE) to drive the efficiency of our wind turbine operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in diagnosing and replacing major components of wind turbines.
• Familiarity with various turbine models, including GE, Siemens, Vestas, and Nordex.
• Technical knowledge in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Detailed understanding of generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to recognize potential issues and faults.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5+ years' experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, with significant MCE expertise.
• Citizenship or eligibility to work in Canada for extended periods, with a valid passport.
• Ability to work an 8-week on, 1 week off rotation.
• Physical ability to safely climb wind turbines up to 90m+, with standing, stooping, walking, crawling, and other physical demands met.
• Valid driving license with a satisfactory record and must be 21 years old to drive company vehicles.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
• Ability to support wind farm projects by traveling to sites in the U.S. and Canada.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• GWO BST certification: fire awareness, working at heights, manual handling, first aid.
• GWO BTT certification: electrical, hydraulic, mechanical.
• SGRE Basic Technician Training.
• OSHA 10 General Industry certification.
