    Job Overview

    As a crucial member of our Pharmacy Operations team, you will play a vital role in assisting the customer service team, pharmacy coordinators, pharmacists, and members in resolving a variety of pharmacy-related issues such as claims, pricing, and coding. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with internal departments and external partners to address and resolve pharmacy-related challenges.

    Job Requirements:

    • Certified Pharmacy Technician – current
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related healthcare field OR 4 years of experience in a pharmacy/healthcare/managed care setting
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience in managed care customer service
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access) and database software
    • Knowledge of drug information
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Retail, Hospital, Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, or Health Plan
    • Handling telephone inquiries from members, providers, pharmacies, and groups regarding benefits
    • Providing support through written and digital channels
    • Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, PBM/Pharmacy, Providers, and members to address pharmacy-related gaps in care, coverage, and claims submissions
    • Facilitating processes for clinical and benefit overrides, Step Therapy, and prior-authorization efforts in the PBM claims systems for Utilization Management (UM) and Clinical Services

    *Position requires a flexible schedule with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote work per week during core business hours Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
