    Job Title: Paid Canvassers

    Employment Type: 1099 Contract

    Get ready to embark on a Mid-Term canvassing mission in Charleston SC, TX with Kingston Strategy. We're on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join us in engaging the local community, sharing crucial election information, and inspiring civic participation. This short-term opportunity offers an impactful experience and a chance to play a vital role in the democratic process.

    Why You Should Join Us:

    Mid-term: No long-term commitment required. Your mission is simple – make a significant impact during the duration of the project. Mid-term projects usually last between one and three months.

    Community Empowerment: As a Canvasser, you'll have the opportunity to empower and mobilize voters in your community. Your role is to inform and inspire your neighbors to participate in the electoral process.

    Flexible Schedule: We understand you have other commitments. You'll have the flexibility to work, including on election day.

    Unleash Your Potential: Whether you're an experienced canvasser or a newcomer, you'll have various tasks, from door-knocking to data collection. Work closely with our Canvassing Manager and exceed daily goals.

    Our Ideal Candidate:

    Diligent and self-motivated.

    Experienced in canvassing (worked on at least two projects).

    Familiar with canvassing software and platforms.

    Your Responsibilities:

    Exceed all on-the-ground metrics.

    Engage progressive communities in your assigned area.

    Attend training and staff meetings.

    Connect with your community.

    Be punctual and reliable.

    Required Qualifications:

    Basic literacy (reading and writing).

    Access to reliable transportation to the site.

    High school diploma or GED.

    Ability to walk for 8 hours a day.

    Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

    Prior canvassing experience.

    Understanding of field targeting and campaign metrics.

    Local knowledge of Location, demographics, and local issues.

    Compensation:

    $25/hour
