    About the Job

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled

    Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

    to join an

    Inpatient Rehabilitation

    team.

    In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide hands-on therapy that helps patients regain independence, improve functional performance, and safely transition to their next level of care.

    Responsibilities

    Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist

    Provide hands-on therapy focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, coordination, strength, and safety

    Assist patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, or medical conditions in regaining functional independence

    Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist

    Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety strategies

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team members including PT, SLP, nursing, and physicians

    Ensure a safe, organized therapy environment and proper equipment use

    Qualifications

    Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

    Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of assignment

    Prior inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehab experience preferred

    Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

    Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations

    Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
