    Procurement Specialist

    CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

    CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.

    Responsibilities


    • Ensures that items and services are purchased by specified suppliers and are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions
    • Seeks maximum value for the company through time and cost agreements
    • Directs and oversees the maintenance and updating of pricing and catalogs for the company on all vendors; standardizing quality products and services
    • Tracks order acknowledgement and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers
    • Performs regular audits of assets on location and within the database
    • Provides comprehensive updates to the Procurement Supervisor regarding the status of priority projects and initiatives
    Minimum Education & Experience Required


    • Undergraduate Degree in supply chain, related field or equivalent
    • Purchasing Certificate Preferred - 3 years' experience in Purchasing and/or Procurement experience
    • In lieu of undergraduate degree, 2+ years' experience in purchasing within the healthcare industry would be considered
    • Must be able to handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Must have clean 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
