    Job DescriptionDescription:

    NO WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS OR CALL Monday - Friday Busy Ambulatory Surgery Center looking for an experienced lead certified central processing tech. Center has 3 OR's and 2 Procedure Rooms. Must be able to work independently and multi task. Candidate must have knowledge of all testing requirements, AAMI Standards, and Regulatory Requirements. Responsible for oversight of Sterile Processing Department including, but not limited to, maintaining instrumentation sets, ordering, count sheets, cleaning, processing, maintaining all SPD equipment (sterilizers, washer, ultrasonic, filters, generator, etc....), compliance logs, etc.... Works with OR team to pull sets for cases and assist with turnovers. Reviews schedule and ensures all instruments are available for cases. Assists GI with flexible endoscope cleaning. Must be proactive with solid judgement and ethics.

    Requirements:

    Minimum 3 years experience in SPD---lead experience preferred.

    Must have CPSPD Sterile Processing Certificate--Supervisor certificate preferred.

    Experience processing GI Flexible Endoscopes. Certification in Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor a plus.

    Have minimum of 12 CEU's for 2024.
