- Shift Start Time: 10hours or an 8-hour shift; we can accommodate both. The days may be Friday-Monday if a 10-hour shift. 40 hrs/ week
- Location: Kirkland, WA
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare patients for mammography procedures, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly and operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Assess images for quality and clarity, ensuring appropriate positioning and exposure techniques.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review images and provide preliminary findings for diagnosis.
- Assist in the localization of breast lesions through procedures such as stereotactic-guided biopsies and needle localizations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all pertinent information related to the mammography examinations.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Calibrate and maintain mammography equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay up to date with advancements in mammography technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography.
- WA State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of mammography procedures, techniques, and equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced Clinical environment.
- Current BLS certification
- Two (2) positive work references
- Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
