    Description

    The Group Facilitator is responsible for facilitating group therapy at the virtual outpatient level of care. The Group Facilitator participates in de-escalation or crisis intervention when necessary. The facilitator communicates pertinent information to the primary treatment team as needed.

    Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Clinical Manager, Program Coordinator, Executive Director and other professional staff to support the day to day operations of Path to Peace's virtual IOP program
  • Facilitation of clinical groups that align with Health at Every Size values and CFD's clinical integrity (skill, body liberation, mind body, neuroscience groups)
  • Supports the patient cohorts and ensures community members feel heard
  • Participating and supporting patient meals through a trauma informed approach
  • Ensure documentation timeframes follow state and payer requirements
  • Attends weekly treatment team and/or clinical meetings
  • Serves as a liaison with multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Participates in company training, webinars, and related meetings
  • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA privacy rules
  • This is a part-time position working Monday-Thursday.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required (or working towards a bachelors)
  • May be working toward Masters degree to become a therapist
  • Experience working in behavioral healthcare preferred
  • Availability to work the following shifts Monday - Thursday (preference 12:30-8:30 PM PST) 12:30 PM PST - 8:30 PM PST 10:30-6:30 PM PST
  • Available for 30 hours per week
  • Must understand the therapeutic process, understand confidentiality laws, and have strong knowledge of professional ethics
  • Enjoys working as a part of an interdisciplinary team and embodies a collaborative, team-oriented spirit
  • Experience with working fully remote is a bonus
