    The Senior Financial Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Director and provides support for the day-to-day office operations

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Accounting or advanced bookkeeping experience
    • Experience working in the field of mental health, social work or interest in mental health

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Experience with using QuickBooks software and proficiency in creating Excel spreadsheets
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others of varying abilities and communication styles
    • Computer skills with proficiency in GSuite
    • Superior organizational skills and passion for improving the lives of those who live with mental illness

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Accounts receivables and payables, debit card reconciliations.
    • Prepares checks for deposit and conducts bank deposits
    • Maintains organized financial record keeping and personnel files.
    • Purchase office supplies/arrange for printing brochures and newsletters.
    • Submit yearly agency filing requirements
    • Provide monthly financial reports as requested.
    • Maintain Board Handbook and prepare board kits for new board members.
    • Assist with organization and execution of events such as the annual Paths to Recovery conference and NAMI Walks.
    • Organize computer files for sustainability of operations, update and maintain office procedures manual.
    • Responsible for opening/close of NAMI offices during designated business hours.
    • Membership processing and donor acknowledgements
    • Provide Accountant with monthly financial documentation to complete monthly bank reconciliations
